Hate to say it but compared to all the rest, the BMW is just so generic-car. Ask a 5 year old to draw a car and that’s what you get when put into comparison with the Astons, Jags, etc.

Having a hummer and a Wrangler tallied as best designs gives me a quizzical look. The Wrangler is a utilitarian design with no groundbreaking themes...in fact it’s the antithesis of design rhyme. So too is the Hummer pickup. It represents nothing that should be adored or glamorized in automotive design. Not to pound on your post but the Fisker is a study in design and functionality. Function follows form as it should, and others should follow this scale. IMO. The lack of purposeful and eccentric sedans relegated this list to “dreamers” cars IMO. Good on the S-class and the 7-series

I think a good design of the last 30 years is one where the average driver has no clue it's not a relatively new car. Lotus Elise, Viper, 360 Modena, Aston Martin, 8c. I dunno. Im just drinkin beer on my porch.
